OSI and TCP PROTOCOL / IP PROTOCOL & NETWORK model information shown

You are most welcome to this post.
OSI TCP protocol, IP Protocol and Network model
Really thanks to you for your interest in this topics. :)

Hi, here we’ll learn something about the IP Protocol. Actually this IP protocol will help us to know more about the network model. Through this we’ll also have some knowledge about tcp protocol.

OSI and TCP PROTOCOL / IP PROTOCOL & NETWORK model information shown using cisco packet tracer

First we’ll create a simple topology having 4 PC, s server and a switch. After implementing IP, we’ll observe the OSI and TCP/IP. So, lets start…

Here in this topology, we’ve placed 4 PC, s switch and a server.

After that we’ll put IP.

Here we have used network address 192.168.1.0/24

So, the IP for the PCs areà

PC0 –>> 192.168.1.2

PC1–>>192.168.1.3

PC2–>> 192.168.1.4

PC3–>> 192.168.1.5

As there is /24, so the subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0 for all the cases and we’ve used 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway.

As DNS server IP we’ve used 192.168.1.254, so lets implement all the IP address there.

Also we’ve used the straight through cable in the case of all cable connection.

Se’ we have completed our network design. We have also seen that our network is working well.

Now lets add a DNS record, so that we can browse a website from any PC in our network.

Here we’ve created a domain name which is www.just.com

Now we’ll test browsing from a PC.

Yes !! our network is working well, and after adding DNS, we can able to browse the website from any PC in our network.

ALL THE SIMULATION WAS DONE USING CISCO PACKET TRACER

Now lets see the info about OSI and TCP/IP model.

We can see the real time simulation and how the packet is transferring through a network.

In the event list if you want to see the OSI or TCP/IP, then just click the colored  box located under info…

So you can be able to see the information of OSI model, TCP/IP model of different devices by clicking the info of that devices.

Hope that you’ve enjoyed.

Thanks !!

Here is the video tutorial given for you.
